It adds more I\/O than Teensy 4.0, with an Ethernet PHY, microSD support and USB host functionality. The Ethernet connector kit is sold separately on the manufacturer\u2019s board.<\/p>\n<p>The board supports dynamic clock scaling and a low-power off state. The source estimates about 100 mA at 600 MHz, but does not specify test conditions; check actual consumption for your application. Overclocking beyond the rated 600 MHz is possible only under suitable conditions and is not a guaranteed operating rating.<\/p>\n<p>The source says holding a button connected to On\/Off for five seconds disables the 3.3 V supply. PJRC documents a four-second hold for this function; use the current board documentation. The source describes a Blink sketch as a basic check that the board and LED are responding. Choose the processor speed to suit the application and power budget.<\/p>\n<p>The source includes an older note about Teensy 3.1 requiring at least 24 MHz; that instruction applies to Teensy 3.1, not Teensy 4.1.<\/p>\n<p>Press the board button to open the Teensy Loader. Compile the sketch in Arduino IDE, then press the onboard button if the loader requests it to complete upload. Follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pjrc.com\/teensy\/\">PJRC Teensy instructions<\/a> for using a C compiler.
