Accuracy depends on temperature range, sensor variant, target filling the field of view and measurement conditions.<\/p>\n<h4>Specifications stated by the source<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Object-temperature range: \u221270 to +380 \u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>Ambient sensor-temperature range: \u221240 to +125 \u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy claim: \u00b10.5 \u00b0C around 0\u201350 \u00b0C; this is conditional and not valid across the full range or every sensor variant.<\/li>\n<li>Resolution: 0.02 \u00b0C (reported digital step, not the same as accuracy).<\/li>\n<li>Field of view: 35\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Module supply: 3.3\u20135 V as listed; check the exact GY-906 board and logic levels.<\/li>\n<li>Current: 1.5 mA as listed; interface: I2C; PCB dimensions: 17 \u00d7 11 mm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The sensor estimates temperature from infrared energy emitted by a surface.
