The MPU6500 supports I\u00b2C and SPI; the chip specification lists I\u00b2C at up to 400kHz and SPI at 1MHz in the referenced specification.<\/p>\n<h4>Specifications stated for this module<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Accelerometer ranges: \u00b12g, \u00b14g, \u00b18g and \u00b116g<\/li>\n<li>Gyroscope ranges: \u00b1250, \u00b1500, \u00b11000 and \u00b12000\u00b0\/s<\/li>\n<li>Resolution: 16 bits per axis (listed)<\/li>\n<li>Operating temperature: \u221240\u00b0C to +85\u00b0C (listed)<\/li>\n<li>Dimensions: approximately 15 \u00d7 10mm<\/li>\n<li>Board supply: 2.4\u20133.6V stated; the listing claims an onboard regulator permits 5V input<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The MPU6500 chip itself uses low-voltage supplies and I\/O; do not apply 5V logic directly to the sensor. Use 5V only if the actual board includes a suitable regulator and level shifting, as verified from its schematic. Calibrate sensor bias and mounting orientation for your application.
