2S 18650 Lithium Battery Level Indicator
Indicator module for a two-cell series (2S) lithium-ion battery pack. The source refers to 3.7 V 18650 cells and lists 8.4 V for a fully charged 2S pack.
- Battery configuration: 2S (two cells in series)
- Four LED levels: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% (source labels)
- Press the push button to display the LEDs; the display turns off automatically after about 3 seconds
- Static current consumption: 2–3 mA (source-listed)
The LEDs provide approximate level indications; the source does not specify calibration thresholds or accuracy. This module is an indicator, not a charger, cell balancer or battery-management system (BMS). Use an appropriate charger and protection system for the battery pack.
The source says to “short-circuit the button” to keep the LEDs on, but gives no wiring details. Do not short the battery supply or bridge unidentified contacts; use only a confirmed switch connection for the exact board.
