Description
A4 Thermal Transfer Paper for PCB Etching
Thermal transfer can be used to make printed circuit boards at home. Create the circuit artwork and print it with a laser printer onto the transfer paper. Place the printed transfer paper against the copper surface and apply heat using a board-making laminator or an iron. The heat transfers the toner onto the copper.
After the transfer paper cools, remove it to reveal the transferred artwork. The toner forms a dark protective layer on the copper during the subsequent etching process.
Printer compatibility: use a laser printer only. The source says inkjet printers cannot be used. Follow the instructions for the transfer paper and board-making process, and handle the hot iron or laminator carefully.
