A4988 CNC Shield with Four Stepper Drivers
This bundle contains one four-slot CNC shield and four A4988 stepper-driver modules with heatsinks. The shield is designed to control the X, Y and Z axes, plus an additional stepper motor such as a 3D-printer filament feeder. The separate controller board, stepper motors and power supply are not included.

Driver and shield information
- The A4988 drives a bipolar stepper motor using step and direction signals from a compatible controller.
- Selectable step modes listed for the driver: full, half, quarter, 1/8 and 1/16 step.
- The French listing states a logic supply of 3–5.5 V DC and a motor supply of 8–35 V DC.
- The listing rates output at 1 A per phase, up to 2 A with a heatsink. Actual usable current depends on cooling, board layout and operating conditions; configure the current limit carefully.
- The original listing recommends setting the output current no higher than 70% of the motor’s rated current. Check the motor and controller documentation before use.
Do not connect or disconnect a motor while the driver is powered; this can damage the module. The listing says the supplied connectors may need to be soldered according to the intended setup. Check the shield pinout and supply requirements before wiring, and provide adequate cooling.
