Description
ADS1115 16-Bit ADC Module with PGA, 4 Channels, I²C
The ADS1115 adds an analog-to-digital converter to a microcontroller or can provide an additional ADC for measurements. The source lists 16-bit conversion at up to 860 samples per second over I²C. It can be configured for four single-ended inputs or two differential inputs.
The integrated programmable gain amplifier (PGA), selectable up to ×16, can amplify smaller single-ended or differential signals. The source describes the module as usable with 2–5.5 V power and logic. Example uses listed include temperature measurement, automation or process control, battery charge-level indication and compact portable projects.
