ESP-01 Breadboard Adapter for ESP8266

This adapter makes the ESP-01 ESP8266 serial Wi-Fi module easier to connect to a breadboard for prototyping. The source notes that the ESP-01 pin arrangement is not breadboard-friendly and is not labeled clearly. A 0.1µF decoupling capacitor is included.

UART adapter connection
3.3V → VCC
3.3V → CH_PD
TX → RX
RX → TX

For the serial terminal setting, the source specifies 15200 baud with both NL and CR selected.

Use a regulated 3.3V supply and 3.3V-compatible serial signals for the ESP-01. Confirm the adapter pin labels and orientation before powering the module.
