Description
LiitoKala Lii-500 Smart Battery Charger and Analyzer
The LiitoKala Lii-500 is a four-bay multi-chemistry charger/analyzer compatible with 3.7 V Li-ion, Ni-MH, and Ni-Cd cells. It has a separate LCD for each channel and two main buttons. Each cell can be charged, discharged, or tested independently. Four charge-current levels are available (300/500/700/1000 mA), and a 5 V / 1 A USB port can power another device.
🔧 Technical specifications
- Power supply: DC 12 V / 3 A via the AC adapter (100–240 VAC) or a 12 V vehicle cigarette-lighter socket (car adapter included)
- Supported chemistries:
- Li-ion (3.7 V): 10440, 14500, 16340, 17355, 17500, 17670, 18490, 18650, 26500, 26650…
- Ni-MH / Ni-Cd: AA, AAA, A, SC
- Charge currents (button-selectable): 300 mA / 500 mA / 700 mA / 1000 mA per channel
- Discharge currents (Test mode): 250 mA / 500 mA
- USB port, 5 V / 1 A: USB-A output for powering a smartphone or IoT module
- Display and interface:
- Four channel-selection keys (1–4)
- MODE (Charge/Discharge/Test), CURRENT (current selection), 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 (channel display), and two-color LEDs (red = charging, green = complete)
- Functions: automatic stop at the end of charging, capacity measurement (mAh), internal-resistance measurement (IR), quick test, reverse-polarity protection, and defective-cell detection
- Dimensions: approx. 159 × 93 × 37 mm
- Operating temperature range: 0 °C to +40 °C
💡 Use and main functions
- Channel selection: press 1–4 to view and configure each bay.
- MODE: switch between charging, discharging, and capacity test (mAh/Ω).
- CURRENT: select the charge current (300/500/700/1000 mA).
- End of cycle: the unit automatically stops charging and displays the capacity charged.
- Discharge test: measures capacity in mAh and internal resistance in mΩ.
- USB port: remains available even when all bays are occupied.
🛠️ Connectors
| Connector | Function |
|---|---|
| 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC jack | 12 V DC input (AC adapter included) |
| Cigarette-lighter plug | 12 V DC input (car adapter included) |
| USB-A | 5 V / 1 A output for charging a USB device |
| Bay rails 1–4 | Cell insertion (positive terminal at the bottom; orientation is opposite to that of other chargers) |
- Plug the 12 V adapter into the DC jack, or connect the car adapter to the cigarette-lighter socket.
- Select a bay, choose MODE and CURRENT, then insert the cell; the red LED lights.
- The cycle ends automatically; the green LED indicates “charging complete.”
- For a test/discharge, select MODE → Discharge/Test and start.
This smart charger provides independent control of each channel and a simple interface for Li-ion, Ni-MH, and Ni-Cd cells.
