Description

TLC555CDR Timer IC, SOP-8

The TLC555CDR is a monolithic timer IC from Texas Instruments, made using its LinCMOS process. The listing states compatibility with CMOS, TTL and MOS logic and operation at frequencies up to 2MHz.

Like other 555 timer devices, its trigger and threshold levels are approximately one-third and two-thirds of the supply voltage, respectively. The control-voltage pin (CONT) can modify these levels. A low trigger input sets the internal latch and drives the output high; a threshold input above its level resets the latch and drives the output low. RESET can reset the latch independently. When the output is low, the discharge pin provides a low-impedance path to ground.

  • Package: SOP-8

Connect unused inputs to valid logic levels to prevent false triggering. Check the exact pinout, supply range and electrical ratings in the TLC555 datasheet before use.
