XL4016 Adjustable DC-DC Buck Converter

Adjustable step-down converter module based on the XL4016, with voltage and constant-current controls and two heatsinks. As a buck converter, it reduces DC voltage; the output cannot be raised above the input.

Specifications stated by the source

Input: 5–40 V in the listing; the XLSEMI IC datasheet specifies an operating range of 8–40 V.
Adjustable output: 1.25–36 V, subject to input voltage and converter dropout.
Output current: listed as 0–8 A; the source says additional fan cooling is needed if temperature exceeds 65 °C.
Constant-current adjustment range: 0.2–8 A.
Power: title states 150 W, while the body says maximum power is about 300 W. These claims conflict. Actual output power is limited by the input/output voltage, current, board design and thermal conditions; do not assume either figure is continuously available.

Output ripple: source states 50 mV maximum at 20 MHz bandwidth; load and line regulation: ±1% listed; dynamic response: 5% / 200 µs.
Input reverse-polarity protection: none. Input overvoltage protection, thermal shutdown and short-circuit protection are claimed.

Use a suitably rated input supply and fuse, observe polarity, provide airflow/heatsinking, and check output voltage before connecting a load. This module is not isolated; hazardous input voltages require qualified design and handling.
