XT60 Power Connector

Polarity and connection
The French listing gives conflicting gender, color and polarity details in its connection table. Connector color alone is not a reliable polarity identifier. Check the markings and manufacturer diagram for the exact parts, then verify polarity with a meter before connecting a battery. Prevent short circuits and use appropriate insulation.
For assembly, the source recommends stripping and tinning the wire, heating the connector securely while soldering, inspecting for shorts between positive and negative, and checking that the pair locks together. Use a soldering setup suitable for high-current connectors and allow the joint to cool before handling.
