Heart Rate Sensor Module
This module measures your pulse by placing a finger between the LED and the phototransistor. If you place your finger in front of a flashlight, it becomes more or less translucent. Depending on the illuminated area, the pulsing of the blood can be faintly observed.
The blood flowing through the vein has a changing density, which causes slight differences in light intensity. The module detects these changes in light intensity and can therefore count the pulse beats.
