Description
HX710B Analog Pressure Sensor Module
The HX710B is a pressure-sensor module based on a 0–40 kPa piezoresistive sensor and a high-resolution analog-to-digital converter. It provides an output voltage proportional to the measured pressure and can be interfaced with a microcontroller to measure air pressure or liquid level through 2.5 mm tubing. Technical reference

Arduino code example
This example reads the module output on analog input A0 and converts it to pressure. The calculation shown assumes a 5 V supply.
const int pressurePin = A0; // Broche analogique reliée à la sortie OUT du module
void setup() {
Serial.begin(9600);
}
void loop() {
int raw = analogRead(pressurePin);
// Conversion ADC → tension (si Vcc=5V)
float voltage = raw * (5.0 / 1023.0);
// Conversion tension → pression (0–40 kPa)
float pressure = (voltage / 5.0) * 40.0;
Serial.print("Pression : ");
Serial.print(pressure, 2);
Serial.println(" kPa");
delay(500);
}
Pinout
| HX710B module pin | Function | Arduino UNO connection |
|---|---|---|
| VCC | 3.3–5 V supply | 5 V (or 3.3 V if VCC is 3.3 V) |
| GND | Common ground | GND |
| OUT | Analog output (0–VCC) | A0 |
| NC | Not connected | — |
- VCC → 5 V (or 3.3 V to match your supply).
- GND → GND (common ground).
- OUT → A0 to read the voltage proportional to pressure.
Note: Adjust the voltage-to-pressure conversion formula if powering the module at 3.3 V.
