Range and accuracy: the probe and converter have different stated ranges. The MAX6675 datasheet allows readings up to 1024 °C and specifies thermocouple accuracy of 8 LSBs from 0 to 700 °C; with 0.25 °C per LSB, this is about 2 °C in that range. The source’s included probe is listed for 0–600 °C, so use the probe’s rating as the limit for this bundle. Actual system accuracy also depends on the probe, installation and calibration.
