KY-037 Sound and Voice Detection Module
The KY-037 module uses an LM393 comparator and an onboard microphone to detect surrounding sound. When sound is detected, the module provides a digital output (DO) and an analog output (AO). The onboard potentiometer adjusts the detection sensitivity of the digital output only; it does not adjust the analog output.
The source listing suggests using sound such as a voice or clap to trigger an action, for example switching a light. The actual trigger level depends on the adjustment and setup.
